Professor Park Chung geun was born in Antu, Jilin. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law from Jilin University and a Master's degree in Law from Yanbian University. In 2001, he obtained a doctoral degree in Criminal Law from Jilin University, and in 2005, he obtained a doctoral degree in Civil Law from Hannan University in South Korea, becoming one of the few Chinese legal scholars with dual doctoral backgrounds at that time.
Professor Park Chung geun has taught at Yanbian University and Dalian Maritime University. Currently, he is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Northwest University of Political Science and Law, serving as the dean of the Judicial Officer Education Institute and director of the Korean Law Research Center. Professor Park Chung geun also serves as a professor at the Hainan Provincial Police College and vice president of the Korea China France Association. He is a visiting professor at several Korean universities, including Jeju Island University and Gyeongsang University. He has also served as a part-time professor and doctoral supervisor at Southwest University of Political Science and Law.
Professor Park Chung geun is a well-known scholar in the fields of criminal law and civil law in China. He has long been committed to the study of comparative criminal law, foreign criminal law, and the legal systems of China and South Korea, and has achieved fruitful academic results, especially in the field of comparative law between China and South Korea, with profound expertise and extensive academic influence. Representative monographs include "On Principal Offenders", "Research on Rural Land Ownership", "Comparative Study of Marital Property System", "Korean Civil Enforcement Law" (translated), "Comparative Criminal Procedure Law" (co authored), etc. He has published more than 50 academic papers at home and abroad, and has led multiple research projects such as the National Social Science Fund, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and the Ministry of Justice.
In the field of legal practice, Professor Park Chung geun has over 30 years of professional experience and has handled a large number of major, difficult, and complex civil and commercial litigation and criminal litigation cases, successfully handling multiple cases of innocence, non prosecution, and probation. Based on the research expertise in the field of comparative law between China and South Korea, I have rich practical experience and skills in foreign-related cases, especially in legal business involving South Korea.
