2026-08-10
The Open Day of Jintang Law Firm was successfully held on March 27, 2026. Centered on the theme How Lawyers Can “Cultivate Shrimp” Efficiently and Securely, the event drew numerous peer lawyers for exchanges, focusing on how AI technology empowers legal practice, the transformation and upgrading of family law practitioners, and the distinctive institutional mechanisms of Jintang Law Firm.
Prior to the event, guided by staff members of Jintang Law Firm, visiting guests toured the firm’s independent office building in Nanshan District. From dedicated department workspaces to the Party Building Activity Room, guests gained first-hand experience of Jintang’s cultural ethos of “Prioritize Professionalism, Achieve Mutual Success”.
Thereafter, Lawyer Jiang Xingxing delivered a warm opening address to welcome all peers. She briefly introduced the overview of Jintang Law Firm and outlined the agenda: three informative keynote sessions covering AI technology sharing, practical experience on family law practitioners’ transformation, and interpretation of the firm’s case lead mechanism.
Mr. Feng Qidong, Senior AI Expert at Tencent Cloud, presented the keynote How to “Cultivate Shrimp” Efficiently and Securely. He analyzed the development trends of AI agents from a technical perspective and explained the underlying drivers behind the viral popularity of OpenClaw — the combined effect of technological tipping points, product innovation, public anxiety and industrial impetus. Powered by Tencent Cloud’s Lobster product series, lawyers can acquire their own digital assistants at low cost and low technical threshold to realize automated local data processing, external information research, content generation, business insight mining and automatic response.
“AI will not replace lawyers. Instead, it frees lawyers from repetitive work so they can focus on higher-value professional services.” Mr. Feng’s viewpoint resonated strongly with all participating lawyers.
Following the presentation, guests raised active questions regarding practical application scenarios of AI agents, data security, deployment costs and other topics, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Mr. Feng Qidong responded to each question and engaged in in-depth discussions on approaches to implementing AI technology within legal services.
Lawyer Jiang Zhudou, Director of the Marriage, Family & Wealth Inheritance Department and Head of Jinyong Family Office at Jintang Law Firm, drew on her own transformation experience and delivered the speech Family Lawyer 2.0 — Market Dividends and Practical Pathways for Transitioning into Family Office Services. She pointed out that traditional family law practitioners are confronted with fierce homogeneous competition, limited client demands and revenue ceilings. In contrast, the market for family wealth management and succession represents an irresistible opportunity of the era.
She elaborated on three core foundations for transformation: legal expertise, client insight and conflict mediation capabilities, alongside four major dividends covering market prospects, revenue growth, enhanced professional value and competitive advantages. Drawing on real cases including succession planning for Mr. Li’s remarried family and premarital asset protection for Mr. Chen’s children, she vividly illustrated how litigation experience can be converted into core competitiveness for family office services.
Lawyer Wang Panfeng, Firm Director and Senior Partner of Jintang Law Firm, gave a detailed interpretation of Jintang’s original First Case Originator Mechanism and relevant tax policies. Under this mechanism, case-related benefits are allocated in a scientific manner with clear revenue ratios defined for case originators, handling lawyers and assisting lawyers. It effectively safeguards the rights and interests of case originators, motivates internal collaboration and achieves shared benefits for all parties.
Director Wang also shared other welfare policies of Jintang Law Firm. Ranging from major career-support initiatives such as youth lawyer training programs to daily benefits including housing subsidies for talents and staff canteen services, the policies reflect the firm’s consistent humanistic care.
“The First Case Originator Mechanism ensures every case lead receives proper support, and every collaborative effort gets duly rewarded.” Director Wang’s presentation enabled visiting lawyers to acquire an in-depth understanding of the firm’s operating system.
