On the evening of April 14, 2026, at 7 p.m., Jintang Night Talk, a brand-new annual series launched by the Youth Work Committee of Jintang Law Firm, officially kicked off. As the first overall activity of the Committee in 2026, this session themed The Professionalization Path of Lawyers delivered an in-depth and distinctive exchange in a relaxed and open salon atmosphere.

A New Journey: Building an Open, Dynamic and Mutual-supportive Community for Young Lawyers

At the opening of the event, Lawyer Lin Zhichun, Management Committee member in charge of the Youth Work Committee, released the 2026 Work Plan of the Jintang Youth Work Committee. The Committee adopted a theme-year model based on a full-year cycle, forming a standardized closed-loop mechanism of planning, implementation and summary.

With the annual theme Ride the Wind, Embrace the Vast Sky, the Committee strives to build an open and sustainable growth community for young lawyers.

The Youth Work Committee will host three signature brand activities on fixed evenings of the second and fourth Tuesday each month:

  • Jintang Night Talk: Relaxed and open exchange salons

  • Jintang Youth Training: Professional skill lectures for competency improvement

  • Jintang Case Forum: In-depth case discussion sessions

The annual activity system focuses on six core modules: professional knowledge enrichment, practical skill upgrading, practice risk prevention, market development enlightenment, client management strategies, and personal brand building.

In addition, the 2026 work plan highlights two key initiatives — the Micro Alliance Team Program and the Personal Professional IP Building Program — implementing down-to-earth strategies tailored to the growth needs of young lawyers.

Jintang Night Talk: Youth Lawyers Share Insights, Senior Lawyers Pass on Experience

Centering on the professionalization path of lawyers, participants engaged in free and candid discussions covering niche practice selection, balanced development of case sourcing and professional expertise, and professional image building for client communication.

Lawyer Ming Can, Director of the Firm’s Management Committee, pointed out that young lawyers possess unique advantages: proficiency in AI and emerging tools, innovative case development channels, forward-thinking mindsets and sharp industry insight.

“With solid professional competence, lawyers are no longer limited to traditional client channels. Nowadays, numerous clients prefer selecting and engaging lawyers online.”

Founding Partner Lawyer Zeng Wei and Firm Director Lawyer Wang Panfeng shared their personal growth journeys. They reviewed how they grew from novice lawyers with zero cases to firm partners through phased short-term, medium-term and long-term career planning and sustained operation. Their authentic experiences, practical strategies and sincere suggestions provided valuable references for all young participants.

Lawyer Zhong Yu, a long-term practitioner in corporate law, emphasized based on her career experience that solid professional service naturally brings client loyalty. “Professionalism is the fundamental foundation of a lawyer’s career — there are no shortcuts.”

Partners Lawyer Lin Zhichun and Lawyer Jiang Zhudou also shared openly about their practice positioning, professional field selection and long-term in-depth exploration.

The event far exceeded its scheduled duration, yet all participants remained fully engaged and reluctant to conclude amid the casual and sincere atmosphere.

The inaugural session of Jintang Night Talk concluded successfully with warm applause. Free from rigid frameworks and dense PPT presentations, this sincere salon-style communication bonded all members and illuminated the professional growth path for young lawyers.

Moving forward, Jintang Night Talk will continue to accompany every young lawyer, empowering them to forge ahead steadily and confidently on the journey of professionalization.
